    Soooooo..................

No pics. So I'm a bit intrigued, since the ad says it's black. So I fill out the little info thingy on the ad requesting they e-mail me some pics.

Just a short while later (this is Monday evening) I get an e-mail back:
    ..................................................
    Hi Marshall,

I sure would like to help you find the right vehicle to fit your needs. Is the 1990 Mercury the only vehicle to fit your needs. Please let me know what I can do for you if you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me.

    Thank you

And of course, there are no pics with the e-mail.
    I reply back:
    .....................................................
Thank you Steven for your quick reply.
Yes, the Mercury Grand Marquis Colony Park wagon would be the only vehicle I would be interested in. I am looking for an older 'classic' wagon. I live in Oregon.
    ......................................................

    Next day, still no pics
    Hmmmmmm.....
But I do get a call yesterday afternoon (dang, I shouldn't have given them my phone #....) Different guy wants to know "What can we do to get you into a vehicle?" I tell him send me some pics. "Are you going to have a trade-in. Are you going to drive down here from Oregon?" I say maybe - I need pics. "What's your trade?" Chevy HHR. "Well, send us the VIN and mileage, etc., and we'll see what we can do...."

    - I guess I'm never getting the pics.......'cause they ain't getting the info on my HHR right now.

AZHEMI - are you anywhere close to Peoria?

If you go to the dealer website, it is listed as a Park Lane Wagon and priced at $13,999! :rofl2:

    And still no photos.

Yeah, figures. When I first saw the ad, I thought it said something like $8,999 (don't remember for sure).

Well anyway, I sent them a follow-up e-mail asking "Where are my pics?"
I didn't get the pics, but I did get some spam advertising generic e-mail from them......

Yup KK, stay away from them. I'm just courious as to how things work on your side of the border..... When you said you may trade your HHR, why would they need a VIN # from you. ??

CarFax is worfless IMHO. It is dependent on repair shops uploading data to its database. Anyone else see a problem with this picture?

Just went to their website again to see if pics were added - nope.
Did do a 'live chat' with someone and asked for the pics again. Of course, she had to try to 'pre-qualify' me while we were texting back and forth. Typical....
Got another "I'll forward this on..." reply........

BTW. Website's got an asking price of $13,999 as jwdtenn mentioned, but the A/T ad has it for $8,999.

:rofl2: I'm sorry Marshall, why are you pursuing this car? I bet they don't even have it anymore. If they ever did.
