84 ltd ii

I was stationed a Sembach AB in Germany from May 88-May 90. I was in the Transportation SQ. Vehicle Ops. had a 83 LTD wagon that was olive green. The 3.8 Engine failed in it, and there was this wrecked fox-bodied LTD Police car with the H.O. 302. You can guess what happened. The mechanics in the sq. did a swap. This wagon was alot of fun on the autobahn, or just stoplight to stoplight...I guess all these years later it's probably wound up becoming part of a Mercedes,BMW or VW by now. The Reg. number on the doors was "85 B 2156" .
