62 newport not a wagon

    The owner of the 62 Chrysler Enforcer believes it to be a true "Enforcer" and I know he's been trying to research the car's history. I doubt someone would go to extreme efforts to clone one, but a special ordered Newport for a city police dept would certainly be a possibility. Apparently the standard engine in the Enforcer was a 383 in '61, and in 62 the standard engine was the 361. The 413 would have been optional. Heres a picture of a couple of brochures that were in the trunk of this one. Looks like there was an Enforcer wagon as well.

    Those bad-boys even had in-flight refueling capabilities.:rofl:
    My son-in-law the cop couldn't even see over the steering wheel.
    I call him "Hamlet".:rofl2:
