   It is a constant that somebody a lot smarter than me figured out. It is related to one horsepower equaling 33000 pound feet of torque per minute and converting from a straight line rate to a rotational rate.

   That would be James Watt, who was a lot smarter than me, too, by stating 5252 instead of 5454.
