^^^^^^agreed. I thought about buying it for the motor and selling the shell. I know the shell will bring $2,500

Looks very much worth saving - ad says all power options and no rust.

This clamshell deserves a new lease on life. The cornering lamps should mean it is high option overall. :dancing:

I made an offer. If I get it I will evaluate it once it gets home

Robbing another old wagon for the motor would be a shame.

Looks like you may have finally found your wagon, huh? I know you've been looking for one for a while now.

Looks desert-solid bodywise. Much easier to fix interior trim and wood than replace metal.

Put Rally II's on it. ;)

The guy is 225 miles from the car and is not willing to meet my shipper to load it. Oh well

How can you possibly expect to sell a car with that type attitude?

Even if he were to sell the car to a local buyer, he still has to go meet them to do the transaction, sign the papers, turn over the keys and collect payment, right?! :naughty: I don't understand - must be missing something.

The problem is he would have to meet with my shipper. He can dictate the terms of when he wants to meet a buyer to do the transaction. Either way, it doesn't really matter. His choice

If you keep looking you'll find a Clamshell to buy.
