I am really surprised it hasn't sold. I may have to go look at it this weekend. Anybody have any idea what this thing is really worth?

In my experience, these are hard to price - very rare when new - much rarer now 40 years later. Indicates they had very limited appeal even then. I personally like the so called coffin-nose front end styling. Obviously many did not. As low as this price goes, if you want a unique driver, go for it.

Send a PM to member Cadipacer. He knows all on these - just bought himself another one.

Its well worth the $3600, but $2700 + ship average about $600 is still a great deal.. with the 360 cid and 2:87 gear in the axle its a good cruiser
It really should be around $4500 + other wise buyers think something is not up front in the deal.(y)
Looked again at pic..one pic shows car at a car show. ( good sign of condition)
    Has hood ornament (he added)
Has AMC license plate ( maybe a diehard owner)
And a class II trailer hitch..
The bad is the strip of chrome at the 1/4 panel down low thats been added ( see screws -rust behind)? and there might be rust near the RR back door in front of wheel well.

He has posted a different picture. The car must have some serious rust issues if the seller admits it. You could get upside down on the value of the wagon real easy on this one. Based on its location it may be sitting outside... Same neighborhood as the Christmas Story house...

I think this is a picture of the actualcarfor sale, not the Idealistic deal album shot the seller previously posted

Think you're exactly right - this one has gone way downhill.

I don't understand why sellers can't be upfront. It gives the old car hobby a bad name. Do they think we are stupid?
