I still think the OP should keep it and drive it, if for nothing more than safety sake!

Take these 2 cars pictured below or even the one across the street and lets say they both hit each other head on at just 20MPH. Now witch car would still be able to drive away? The wagon would take out both and still be safe to drive!
    :rofl2:

Yep, I was holding the lead at the $4,850 point with $5556 up my sleeve. I got knocked out with too much time left, and I did not want to get into a bidding war without that full power tail gate. Damn fine car at $6500 still!

This CC is beautifully kept as well, and it is extra cool that the history of this car can be well documented. At least this means they are still out there somewhere. 7K does not seem too bad either as it does have the third row and full power gate.

    Nice wagon, Oldschool780........

I see you made a post in the 'Station Wagons & Parts For Sale' section, with a link to this thread. Technically, the main thread should have been in the other section. No big deal though.

A lot of commentary on the pricing. I will say that $7,000 could be in the ball park, but you are going to have to wait for the right buyer to come along - one that likes the color combination, but doesn't mind the lack of convenience power equipment. I would say the majority of clamshell Custom Cruisers came with power windows and locks, cruiser control, tilt, etc. Don't downplay your wagon's lack of some (or all) of that equipment (particularly the power windows). Personally, that would eliminate me as a customer right there.

Since the lack of equipment could be an issue, any ad you post should provide a bit more information on the overall condition of the wagon to counter the negative aspects. What's been replaced recently? New brakes? Shocks? Engine tune up? Stuff like that........... Better close-up pics showing the nice condition of the interior and engine compartment would be a help.

    Good luck with your sale.
