    It would be interesting to know what his reserve is. If it’s $35 still probably not gonna go in round 2. But as you say it’s a good start.

    He really lowered the price. Sold for $19K. Long way from $35K.

    Dang! I'd just about call that a bargain for that car. You certainly couldn't restore one to that level for anywhere near that price.

    I was very suspicious of the paint quality on that one. He was trying to sell it before paint for a long time before having it painted and re-woodgrained for a sale, many listings on craigslist with faded paint and the interior looked like it might have had a spray as well (not sure about that one). How many people shell out for quality paint work when they are trying to sell? The auction photos had the car looking really good so it might be OK for a lot of years.
