This model is probably pretty collectible with the clamshell tailgate right?

Seems like a good opportunity. What do the experts think?

 

This is a cool car and I certainly don't mind the typical 70's body colour and trim combo. I am also guessing that there is a small filler missing from under the L/H front blinker as well?

 

If it is as nice as it is described and as it appears in the photos, this is a very good buy at $4800. If the seller were to put it on eBay, he likely could get close to $10k or possibly more for it IMO. A similarly nice '76 Caprice Estate sold for $13,500 a couple of months ago.

 

I sent a message to the seller last night but haven't heard back. You can only contact through the site that the car is listed on, there is no phone number listed. This is only about 40 miles from me. I checked to see if it is also listed on the local CL but it isn't.

 

Looks like it has 64K miles on it if you look at the pic of the odo. I wonder what happened to the button for the headlights too.
