I don't know if I would say sinister, but the front end of the '76 Caprice looks like it was just tailor made for the square headlights, with the sweptback look.

'76 was by far my favorite model year for the Caprice.

Agreed on that! What a great look! (Stock image that is, but what a beauty.)

I know that wagon, I thought the posting for 20K, it was not local, it is the one I passed on. I could have had this wagon for $3000 3 years ago.

Nope, wasn't on blocks at all. On some old bias ply tires for sure, needed a fuel pump. Once the son changed it the car ran fine.

Pass side dog leg sure as hell looks repaired( and not well) Looks like it's longer than the rocker on the bottom. Drivers side too. almost looks like rivet's on the front flat sides(door jams)? They undercoated a lot, in the wheel wells. to me that's a big no-no. And if the only repaints on the car are the header and rt fender how did the overspray get all over the door stickers inside? Especially the tire pressure one(you can tell they tried to wipe it off)? Bumper filler is toast AND it's missing the interior light cover? I mean really they want MORE than primo cash? I dunno sort of seems like lipstick on a pig deal to me.

I agree, a close inspection is needed on this wagon. Who knows what it looks like underneath. And keep in mind this is a two seater with manual gate. eBay bidding estimate=$9,100 without meeting reserve.

Looks pretty clear there has been more repainting than is being admitted. Still, bidding appears pretty spirited so far (35 bids) for having been on eBay for just over a day now.
