The spare tire well's black though, maybe they didn't spray there.

Hah, That's the first time I've ever seen anyone do that. I can understand preventing wear but at the same time how long does it take to wear one down? Maybe the seller's more concerned about keeping dirt off the pedals!

A perfectly fine idea. But how about taking the shrink-wrap off the pedals while taking the photos and then putting it back on again afterwards? He has to know that leaving them on for the photos is going to have people across the country scratching their heads.

Some people are smart enough to repaint the black when they repair. Just observing the fact that the paint does not match tailgate to 1/4. It does on the drivers side tho

    No surprise.

Advice to seller: Starting the bidding at 12 grand for a car like this is a recipe for disaster, as you're in the process of finding out. All that will happen is that people will just pause momentarily on the listing as they're browsing cars for sale and then move on. If you really want 12K for the car, fine, make that your reserve. But start the auction considerably lower and see what interest you get. When you find that the interest level doesn't come close to $12,000, rethink your price. Remember, this is a station wagon. It may look good and be rare, but that doesn't make people want it.
