1972 Dodge Coronet Crestwood

    While watching that Rockford Files scene, I was really surprised by the number of cars in the background that were over 20 years old. There was a woody at the opening scene, a '57 Cadillac at Safeway, a '50 Ford on the overpass chase scene, and others too.

    I LOVE that Crestwood. That is one car certainly worth owning!

    lol, yeah I have never seen the movie, but I remember seeing in available in DVD in a local Target awhile back, I almost bought it. lol. I got Adam-12 instead. lol.

    Didn't know you had that Thunderbird.....

    Back in 1975, I purchased a '69 4-door Thunderbird, much like this one:

    Really liked driving it, just couldn't afford the gas in the middle of a gas crisis. Wouldn't mind having another some day, but I'd probably go with either a '67 (which normally would come with buckets and a full console, not a bench seat)

    I also have a 1969 Thunderbird 2-door Landau like this one, Krash! The FoMoCo color is known as Lime Gold!

    Love them both, what a pleasure to drive! Powerful and so luxurious!

    That 429 ThunderJet V8 really moves it out, even with today's gasoline!
