Was just thinking (I do that on occasion)......

I know there are places that rent exotic cars like Ferraris, Lambo's etc.....
What if they added 'unusual' cars to the mix, like one of these Citroens? I wouldn't necessarily want to own one, but I sure would like to drive one - for a day. Rental company would have to have access to a good mechanic and parts though.

There does seem to be a good support network out there - lots on the internet about them - parts sources, troubleshooting, etc.

That would be sweet KK! I'm with you I would love to cruise on around for a day, everything I have heard sounds like they drive and handle very well.

Thanks, Rat....I enjoyed watching that. The more I see of these the more I want one. If I found a non-rusty runner at a reasonable price, I'd own it. :D

Love these cars. They drive beautifully. Love that all it takes to jack one up to change a tire is an axle stand, and let the suspension do the rest of the work. Too bad, though, that they both have the American front end. The European ones had covered lights, and the inner ones followed the front wheels.

Ha! I love it! Taking the rear fender off to change the tire! You have to hand it to the French - if they can make something simple complicated they will! :1st:

(Just a note here: I'm not French-bashing. I love France. And the French. And Citroen cars too. But the French often over-think things.)

I will save this video to my "favourites" in case I ever buy a Citroen DS. And learn Italian.
