1967 chrysler town & country for sale by owner - Los Angeles, CA - craigslist Check this out. Very clean, but I hate the red mats, and it has no air! A must for So. Cal Summers. Lack of air is the dealbreaker. Otherwise, I think it's quite nice. Where's the wood, though?
That is nice. but you are correct about AC, I'm in NC and can't do no air. I think those T&C's of that ere look best with no wood.
I think on those T & C's you could opt for a woodgrain-delete. It's kinda rare, but they're out there... Maybe the T & C's didn't get wood until 68 anyway? Maybe?
That's quite a large greenhouse to cool down. It even hasn't got a tinted windshield. Air conditioning isn't impossible to add on. You'll need to get the radiator swapped out for a 3-core or an equal-cooling capacity aluminum type, a heavy-duty clutch fan, get a heavier duty alternator and larger battery, first. An adapter kit for a modern compressor should be available, as well as an under-dash unit which should suffice, if only the front bench is occupied on trips. If you don't mind the looks, tinted foil on all glass except for the front doors and windshield (keeping it legal) will greatly reduce heat load also
