    I'm not generally a huge fan of these, but this one looks pretty sharp.

    Yeah, when not painted yellow. I never liked these either, in particular. But surrounding this Checker with contemporary vehicles as a background, this Checker actually looks pretty good. A wagon that you could work on yourself also pushes its value up. This would make an excellent forever car and even one for off the grid. If fuel costs is a worry, an in-line 6 is a bolt-in swap
