This IP has been automatically blocked. If you have questions, please email: Not that my world will end because of this, but I can no longer open Craigslist links here. All I get is the above and some numbers. It's not like I am going to buy a vehicle but I did enjoy looking at the photos, reading the sales ads, and commenting. Following is what I have and what little I know. Mamma never trained me in computer science. It began earlier this week after a flag thingie came up telling me that something had tried to change things on how my computer operates. It flashed on and off so fast I don't remember what it wanted to change to or what virus system blocked it. These things happen occasionally and I just click NO or click the X to close it. Apparently I clicked the wrong X or the wrong OKAY! Or I did nothing which is usually not a good thing. I've looked over everything I could and saw nothing that was blocked that shouldn't be or wasn't before. I've had this computer 1 1/2 years and it's hated me from the beginning. Windows 8 is not my friend! --------------------------------- I have a HP desk top set with Win 8.1 along with Firefox. Whatever built in virus and firewall protection is all I use plus these free ones. AVG2014 AdvancedSystemCare7 Malwarebytes Anti-Malware CCleaner. I usually use them at least once a week. In reality I don't believe most of what they show. Often there are lots of virus' and bugs that mostly disappear after running the program. Except for enough to scare people into buying the full protection. Up till now I've had no real virus problems. Since this is some sort of block it is not actually a virus either. Anyone got any ideas where I should look to uncheck the Craigslist block? Any information is deeply appreciated. Please keep it simple or I will just mess it up more! Maybe I should go out in the garage and play with my station wagon!
As the redneck said to his huntin buddies after a long weekend killin wild animals "you ain't gonna believe this ." After I spent long hours writting and begging for help something happened. I rechecked every link that is up now and they all came up! So temporarily I don't need any assistance. Thanks anyway. Like I wrote, my computer hates me but sometimes treats me nice.
Try this: Go to your 'Control Panel' Select 'Uninstall a program' Look at the list that pops up and see if there's anything that looks suspicious that was added recently. Uninstall it. If you end up messing stuff up, you can just find the program in your recycle bin and re-install it.
By joove I didn't think of that. My free Advanced SytemCare keeps popping up that I need to install the new free upgrade. Everytime I do it wants me to pay for the full program and I end up deleting or un installing the upgrade. I've done that a lot lately. I have a program called IObitUninstaller. I'll take a look and see what's new on there acording to the dates. Oddly it was fine earlier again. Thanks for the tip. If I'm not back later that means I accidentally deleted the wagon forum.
Craigslist is blocking your IP for some reason. If the email listed on the site is something "@craigslist.org", send them an email asking them to unblock you.
Thanks. I've never used Craigslist but I do bad mouth some of the ads on here. Below is what I get. This IP has been automatically blocked. If you have questions, please email: (Then it shows four blocked links in my private yahoo mail folder.)
Craigslist cannot correlate their listings with your posts on the forum. I dont understand this. Did you send an email to email that was provided?
??? She has been mumbling a lot about "you are not buying another *@# car". Can you block "Cat's" IP until he corrects his screen name? I did get my screen name corrected.ModelT1 By the way the Craigslist links are working again.
Looks like I'll have to send your honey another email telling her about you wanting to yet again buy another car of CL. I'll bet with in 24hr's you will be blocked again!
I've never used Craigslist or anyone elses. No I didn't send a reply to that email post because I'm not even sure how it works. It wasn't my regular yahoo mail. Strangely it seems to randomly block and unblock when I come back on here. And I never really sign out. I think it's one of the virus or firewall blockers I have that is doing it. Like everything else with this computer, I'll ignore it and it will go away. Another storm going to knock me off line anyway.
