    ok...
i am a huge Parrot-head (like a dead-head but follows jimmy buffett instead of the dead)
and two of my favorite buffett albums are A1A and Banana wind. so i combined them for a buffett chat room (remember those...think AOL) and i have had it since. probably since 1997 or so. the avatar... is because my car is the tiki wagon. and i guess fairly well know among the b body community.

I have no avatar and since I am the webmaster of a wagon site, I combined the two together for my user name.

My avatar self explanatory and the story behind 1tireman is I am a Dodge, Chrysler and Jeep mechanic by trade. In the great automotive fallout of 2009 I decided everybody needs tires and maintainence on thier cars and opened up Pearl River Tires and Quick Service, LLC. It was a licensed and insured business that was known for making appointments at your convienience. Can't count how many times I went home at 5 O'clock when we closed and went back at 6 or 7 to put tires on trailers for construction crew that couldn't make it during the day. Then my undoing was I also dealt in used tires. I hand picked them myself, if it wasn't good enough for my personal car, I wouldn't sell it. I sold as many used tires as new if not more.I would get a customer needing a used tire to get to work but couldn't pay me until friday when they got paid and I am a sucker for that kinda stuff. I had good people that kept thier word but many who did not so I ended up closing after a couple years since giving the inventory away made it hard to pay employees and the bills :) I was known as "Tireman" around town so I use it as my computer name.

I belong to another forum and use a statement my boss told me when me and the painter played hooky to go fishing and he found out he asked us "Y'all make any money this week?" and when we said "no" He shouted " Y'ALL ARE FLAT BROKE BUT WENT FISHING!" so I use "Flat Broke" over there :biglaugh:

Don't really have an 'avatar' Been changing my pic some lately...
The name Krash Kadillak comes from my on-line racing days (Need For Speed Hot Pursuit 2). Was originally known as 'karguy427' but decided to think of something a bit more catchy. Thought of the do-wop nostalgia group Flash Cadillac and the Continental Kids, changed 'Flash' to 'Krash' and the C's to K's and there you go. Also fits in to my profession. Haven't done any on-line racing for a couple years now.

After watching your cruising videos in Florida on YouTube, I thought it was the breeze with open windows driving on A1A that was the inspiration...

My user name is my first name. Being an artist I have used that name for all the forums I join since all my art is signed simply "Jairus". The avatar is just a quick pic my photographer son managed to snap of my forehead 5 or 6 years ago and I have used it since. No big deal and I consider it and my name as important for recognition as the IBM or McDonald's logos.

    Boring huh?

Mine is even more boring. I usually think of random names when joining forums so the big G can't track me as easy. I chose this name because I am a guy and there was a huge cat in a book I was reading at the time and it's name was Mister. So, Mr. Mister. I don't even like cats but it works.

My screen name is my first name, last initial, and the year I was born (or hatched, take your pick). The avatar is of Nora, the current 'trusty rusty', taken on the day I bought her. That was also, by the way, the last time she looked THAT good. First day I had her things started falling off. She looks like a rolling wreck now. GOTTA get me a wagon soon!

My name comes from the nickname of my first wagon, Big Bird, which is an '87. Prior owner's wife HATED the car and used to refer to it as such. My wife, who loves it, liked the name so we kept using it.
The avatar is my other wagon, Top Banana.

Logically enough, my name is Dave (David, actually), I am from Indy (Indianapolis, IN).

Hmmm...I really should look into getting an avatar eventually...
