Put new tires on, after finding out I had a large chunk missing from one.

Yeah, and don't put your baby up there, either...

When our girls were little, I was always afraid I was going to do this......

Usually, I wouldn't, but the paint's not in the best shape up there anyhow, so I don't worry so bad.

    73, what can I say other than:2_thumbs_up_-_anima:party5::bowdown:

Cap, your Colony looks great, glad you went with the white walls. I put the mags on my 83 because it needed the tires...3 white wall, one black just looked like crap to me. When I get a bit ahead again, the mags are gone and WW with the spokes will be back on

What a messed up world we live in:slap:

When I read the report to my wife she had other words to say about it! Words I can't repeat here!
The sad part is this is not just a one time thing. I'm sure it happens often. Maybe not the baby falling off but left someplace and the mother has no idea where she left it!
That part of these stories that always gets me is----a boy friend. Nobody get s married and has a child anymore.

Not a bad price on them, either. Paid 180 bucks for tires mount and balance. I wouldn't go with anything but whitewalls. Thankfully, my buddy has a shop and could get me a pretty good deal on 'em.

Wow! Haven't been on here for a while. It makes me feel like a slacker, but I'm still so happy to see you guys getting so much done! This thread is very inspirational... Congrats to all for moving forward.

Pulled the carb and the radiator off yesterday.

Radiator is in BAD shape. Will replace with nice new aluminum.

    Carb.. will buy a rebuild.

After work I think I'll fiddle a bit with electrical. Rear tail lights aren't fully functional.:(

Got the first coat of SEM Color Coat on my gray front seats today.
This was taken as I began the process. The upper, center section has been coated with the blue/gray color coat, but the lowest section of the seat back is still gray.

Not sure what caused the funny color streaks on the lens, but the seat looks MUCH better than it appears in this picture:

Will add second coat next week; no time to work on it again before Monday....Car Shows all weekend!
