Yeah....me too, CE. I hate having to park my wagon inside for months! I envy the members that live in areas that have no salty roads for the winter months.:(

It'd be nice, wouldn't it? I'd probably have another wagon or two, instead of my pickup then lol

Wish I could park mine inside.
Oh she's a dirty little wagon, lots of melting brown slush on the roads right now, horrible weather.

And then there's NW boonies Florida. 50's at nite and 80+ daytime lately. It did rain during the nite but I told it to stop when I got up! Only salt is on the rim of my drink and in the Gulf 30 miles away. :rofl2:

i gotta clean the wagon now as were getting ready for a rod run a few hrs drive up the road .i know at least one wagon will be there :thumbs2:. should be a nice show with the family as it is in a westate resort so while i check the cars and swap meet, the wife and daughter willl go horseback riding , then it's either swamp buggy's or airboats followed by an evening at the rodeo . temps say mid 70's day /mid 40's night

also i have been having some downshifting and trans issues so i ordered a kit to correct this from bowtie overdrives for the new surprise about to come.

Mine's buried under snow, too. Sitting next to my truck, ready to hit the road.

Dropped a power strato-bench seat (bench seat with flip down center armrest and bucket seatbacks) from a '66 Caprice off at the upholstery shop to have recovered. Hopefully he gets it done so I can install before spring cruising :dancing:

Installed the 1.25" front sway bar and an F-41 rear bar in the Bonneville today.

It's 40F here and the roads are clear so I took it for a little test run.

Nice and flat in the corners; took a couple of 90 degree turns at 25 mph and just got a tiny hint of front under-steer scrub.

Once I get the quick ratio steering gear installed and get it aligned, I think this is gonna be a lot of fun!

Today I gave it 5 qts of mobil 1 and new air and oil filters. Last fri I put on some chrome resonator exhaust tips and did that quiet the interior drone from the exhaust.

Over the last few weeks I have received most of the parts I ordered for installing this winter.

Pics of the tips and some of the parts I have.

I feel your pain! I keep looking at Fannie's pics but can't get myself to go into the garage. :( I really can't handle seeing her in all those pieces. :(
However, I'm hoping to get those Texas quarters weilded on before spring. The body guy (Robert) has hurt his back and is taking a vacation trip to a much warmer climate towards the end on February, so hopefully he'll be feeling better when he gets back. I just hope he's still able to do it

Hanging there CE, it's already the end on January. Feb. is a short month before you know it March will be here. ;)

I'm not sure if it's identical to the F Body (Camaro/Firebird), but it is definitely the box that was installed on the Monte Carlo SS (and others) with the performance suspension/handling package.

IIRC, it's about 1/2 turn less to go from stop to stop.Part of that difference is because the stops allow less total travel. My minimum turning radius will increase, but I'll be able to run a wider wheel/tire without rubbing on the control arm or tie rod.

Can't wait to test it out on dry roads in the spring!
