Having a tracking number just means that the seller printed a shipping label for it so it is in FedEx's system. Obviously the physical handing off of the package from the seller to FedEx has not happened yet.
Yes, FedEx has not received the package yet. I don't get it.....he printed a label and that's the end of it? Did he even box up the item? What a joke of a seller. I feel irritated just thinking about it. I'm on the verge of asking for a refund right now. Maybe that might push him to put the part in the mail. ....? I sent him a second message this morning, and STILL no response.
What I did was to contact ebay's customer complaint section. Given that they want to keep a spotless reputation, they'll put pressure on this seller of whom is dependent on ebay for making a living. If he then doesen't budge, ebay will cut him off and file for legal procedures. Thereafter, ebay will refund your money. As in my situation, applying pressure yourself will only delay the process. You'd have a better chance of receiving your item, after ebay backs this guy into a corner, making life miserable for him
I just did what you recommended. I submitted a request via Ebay; the seller has three days to respond. Hopefully this will get his ass in gear. I would really prefer to get the part rather than a refund.
Got a response back from the seller within minutes: "My apologies for the slow response it should never take this long to get an item I am headed back to NJ now and will get this handled as soon as I am home as my staff apparently are having an issue on this one" My question: why can't he call his "staff"? Hasn't he heard of cell phones? I'll feel more comfortable once the part starts moving through the system. At least he was polite and not defensive.
Life happens a lot to this guy. He's received 188 neutrals and 463 negatives in the past 12 months. Hopefully, the item will move within the next three days. If I see no movement by Saturday, I'm going to request a refund.
Every few days, the delivery date gets pushed back. Last time I looked it was Jan 27 - Feb 1st (original arrival date, Feb 19th). Now it's Jan 30th -Feb 3rd. I'm still going to wait until Saturday Jan 27th before I contact Ebay again. I sent the seller a response to his message this morning. I said: "I would appreciate it if you could get the item moving sometime this week. I'd rather not ask for a refund because I need this part badly and it is difficult to find. Thank you. Lisa" No response from seller. Item still isn't moving.
If it gets set back once more, you might want to ask ebay if they could set a bottom line date for movement. Once this item is out of his hands, you can then follow it at FedEx. Ebay responded to my claim, 18 days ago. I'm waiting for a yes or no, before I order anything more through that platform. Yesterday, I placed an order somewhere else, totalling slightly over 35€ of business ebay didn't get
Typical negative feedback for this seller: "I never received the item. Item was allegedly shipped on Dec. 16, 2023. It is now Jan. 22, 2024, and I have not received it. I contacted the seller a few times. One time the seller replied and apologized promising the item would get delivered. In good faith I ordered the item again and it still has not been delivered. I don't know what to think. This is the first and only time I have ever left negative feedback, but I am convinced that the seller has earned it. Beware."
Ever since personal computer-usage began, unreliablity and slip-shod service have proliferated. This seller displays a pattern of either being cellphone addicted or possibly even a Meth Head. Why else would this person be Hell-bent on ruining his own business?
Item has yet to be received by FedEx. I'll be requesting a refund through Ebay tomorrow. What a drag! The quest continues..................
If you can get Hubby to photograph explicitly what's there and what isn't, there's a chance that the following yard might have something: https://shop.morlock-motors.de/?suche=Ford&seite=2 If not, this Ford expert in Tennessee could come up with something. He's very polite and helpfull:
