The woman on the right is a Quadraped. You seldom see that these days.

Jim, that's hilarious. I hadn't noticed that. Poor thing always had to buy two pairs of shoes. I would think driving would've been a little tricky for her as well as climbing stairs.

I wouldn't want to dance with her. I bet she has two left feet.

    Denny, it's a 4 door station wagon that's missing two doors. :)

Those four door wagons with two doors missing are the best kind. Nice wagon.

Yep. When I was a toddler, we had a '53 Chevy 4 dr. sedan and my parents weren't amused by my opening the back doors while we were going down the road so they traded it in on a brand new '55 210 Handyman wagon. It was light blue with a white top and it kept me safely contained in the back seat for 5 years when it got traded in on a new '60 Chevy Parkwood wagon. The wagon I have now is only the 4th 2dr '55 210 wagon that I've personally seen since ours was traded in so many years ago.

Coincidentally, several years ago I was having a little issue with the web site so Otis called me. When I saw the area code and exchange on the caller ID, I asked him how things were going in Ekron, KY and I think he was a little shocked. Ekron is real near Brandenburg, KY where I grew up and where our old '55 got traded in and I recognized the numbers.

I've got some old pictures of our original '55 wagon in the gallery, so I'll post a few of them in this section since they're now vintage old car pictures.

    Merry Christmas!

    Our original '55 210 2 door Chevy 210 wagon.

My Great-Grandfather/Grandmother Conner at the old home place off of Old Athens Road, Princeton, WV. My cousin John Johnson is on the right and I'm the one holding the spiffy hat. Great-Granddad worked for the locomotive shops for the Virginian Railway.

This was our house on Orley Rd. in Catonsville, MD with my two grandmothers and my grandfather. The old station wagon had moved us to Catonsville, MD from Morgantown, WV and in 1959 would move us to Brandenburg, KY and would soon be traded in on a new '60 Chevy Parkwood wagon.
