Wagons in vintage Street scenes

Post # 31851 - A&W Drive-In, back in the mid 50's.
- Does anyone recognize the location?

- Building across the street is a Standard Brands Paint Company location, a fixture in So Cal in the 60's and 70's (maybe the 50's as well...) My dad bought all his paint and supplies from them. I visited them myself once or twice back in the mid 70's when I had some repairs/painting to do. I do not recognize this particular location though.

 

Kind of feel like this one may have been shared before.

Looks like the car fourth from the right tapped the flag pole. At first glance I thought it was a Mercury. But looking at the side trim, maybe it's a Plymouth?

 

Yeah, probably more than once before. Evidently a popular surfing spot somewhere in So Cal, but never being a surfer in spite of growing up 2 miles from the beach, I don't know for sure. I think it might be somewhere around San Onofre, which is close to the dividing line between Orange and San Diego counties, and also a place where there is right now, a nuclear power plant.
