Raymond Saidel was a second-generation Oldsmobile dealer who owned and operated the Merrimack Street Garage located in Manchester, NH. In the early 1950s, Saidel began to handle MG, Triumph, Mercedes-Benz, and Alfa Romeo cars and number of other brands.

He was a sports car enthusiast and began racing an Allard J2X in 1953 and he won the New England Region SCCA Modified Championship that year. Later he discovered the TVR Engineering Company in the UK was offering a lightweight tube chassis for the construction of road and racing cars. In time that led to the MK II Jomar racing car being constructed and later the SSR1 chassis, which was built at the dealership and pictured below.

The Oldsmobile photo was taken at the Bridgehampton road racing circuit (closed) located at Sag Harbor, Long Island, NY.

Kaka Point Beach at Port Molyneux in the Catlins, located on the southeastern corner of the South Island of New Zealand. The crowd visible here gathered to watch a surf meet at the beach in the early 1960s.

I'm surprised there is no snow on the ground. Doesn't look that cold either.

According to the info I found with this photo, this is a rest stop. It also looks like it is Mopar & GM country.
Two 1964 Plymouths! There's also a 1963 as well as the Dart dead center.
I also love the tri-five chivys.
    Then there's the lone Studebaker...

That was fun. My favorite part was the car chosen for Santa to ride in.
