Wagons in vintage Street scenes

I know the article states the Corvair was his wife's car. I just don't believe that's true. His wife, Edie Adams, was a well-known Hollywood dancer and actress in her own right. Just doesn't make sense to me that she wouldn't have a nicer car for herself than a Corvair. I believe I had read sometime back that it was indeed a housekeeper's vehicle (owned by Kovacs for household errands - common for the L.A. / Hollywood elite....).

Yes, I've had the pleasure of seeing some of Kovacs' work from the fledgling ABC Network, but like a lot of local TV stations, anything shot direct-to-video had two viewings in a season, then was recycled by the station or the network to save money. When Kovacs was killed, his wife immediately went to ABC and bought the rights to the remaining tapes containing the shows.
