Those were the humble dads. The naughty ones drove Thunderbirds and Continental Mark IIs :hungry:

Expanding on this a bit, along with the info provided in the next post by Poison Ivy...
That 'Collins' guy (forget his first name...) became a huge restaurant developer in the 60's and 70's, getting his start right there at the Hamburger Handout.

The Handout was only ONE of a number of food outlets on the property. There was a pizza place, an ice cream stand, and a Fried Chicken outlet, which MAY have been the first Kentucky Fried Chicken in the area. There was also the first 'Sizzler' Steak House. The whole property was called 'Airport Village', being only 2-3 miles from LAX, and only a thousand yards or so from the Hughes Aircraft runway.

Sounds like no place for the slim & trim. I wonder how many greedy cardiologists began wringing their hands, upon getting informed of this property
Not only the pin striped trousers are a deadnuts givaway that this is a son of Frank Sinatra

And you mean to tell me you grew up in Detroit, but don't know who Paladin was? I'm not much of a fan of the Western genre, but I definitely know who Paladin was. It's like saying you don't know who Richard Kimble, Pete Malloy, or Witchie Poo were.

He was born in Los Angeles, according to your link. No, I might have seen him. But, he never stood out

Just looked up 'Have Gun, Will Travel' on www.imdb.com.
That series had some amazing talent on it - a lot of directors who went on to bigger and better things. Writers, too. Gene Roddenberry is credited with writing 26 episodes.
