They're my dream car. I've wanted one since I was about 6 or 7 years old.

    (y) yes, I'm still alive. Been away a while. Lost my job with the post office, then lost my laptop to some kind of bug or another. Only recently got another computer. But now, I should be visiting again. Even invited somebody named Seattlecarnut, on Youtube, to come over and join up.

If money weren't an issue and gass gets back under control, I'd love a '61 Impala coupe, Fawn Beige met. or Tuxedo Black over Roman red with the red accents between the trim. I'd take any V-8 in that one. Heck it doesn't need to be an Impala, it could be a Bel Air pillard coupe...

That or a '61-2 Cadillac convertible.

Not being a smart @zz, but can you prove that? I Remember these cars when new, 318/360 was it for V8 engines from Crystler.

Cyber, Although I'm a Ford man at heart with a drive way full of GM's I like your taste.

Me, I'd like my old 80 Plymouth back. Bout new Nov 1980 by my Dad, for my sister ($10.500), I bout it from her in 1984 for $2500. If I remember the mags were on it in 1986 but they didn't last long, Front wheel rub and the Bias Ply drive just didn't cut it.

Sold it to a friend in 96(?) with almost 300K Miles, it just kept going but got slower and slower everyday. He restored it and dumped built up 71 360 in it, The car is still bombing around here with my bud behind the wheel.

    1986....

And 2009, the car looks the same today, daily driven 13+ year old restoration

I've never really had a loyalty to any particular brand but I'll admit some strong leanings to those 80's Chryslers. My Dad had a '76 Fury that he drove as a cab and then kept as his daily driver. I always liked that car but didn't think much of it. I really fell in love when I started seeing this Grand Fury/Magnum turn up at police vehicle shows. I've been nuts for them ever since.

A bit more pragmatic then most would like, but I do a lot of freeway driving here in the rust belt so this is pretty much the perfect car. `96 LHS.
