    Mopar coolness

    (1) used to have an 86 Plymouth Reliant wagon.Light blue, inside and out. Once we took it to the right transmiision guy(and no,his initials are not AAMCO)it was easily, one of the better cars we've had...(2) for a short while, had a co-worker with an early 80's Dodge Aries woodie wagon, that came equipped with a 2.6 Hemi.It said so on the front fenders.I asked her if it was a zoomer because it had the Hemi four-banger.She said she had no idea,it was just another car to her...:49:

    Thanks guys.
Stickman, the Hemi6 came in 3 sizes, 215c.i., 245c.i. and 265c.i. My wagon has the 245 installed. They came in various performance levels depending on induction setup. They were available with a single barrell (215,245), 2barrell (215,245 or 265), 4 barrell (245 or 265) or 6pack (triple Webers on 265 only).

Homestar, I reckon you'd be right there. As far as I know the motor has never been rebuilt but it is getting close to needing a freshen up.

Speaking of Dodge darts (and slightly off topic...okay alot), I found this Dodge Phoenix, which is what the RHD Canadian built 1960-61 Darts were called when exported to Australia, sitting in a front yard not far from me.

I know it's not a wagon, but still, she just looks so cool!

Best of all, she was about to be picked up and transported for a new home to get resto'd. The doors seriously opened and closed like they were brand new. Beauuutiful. ;)

They were popular in Eastern Canada, and on the West Coast. Well equipped too. The luxury models (hardtops and hardtop wagons) had the swivel seats. Nice to see an Aussie survivor.

I tried to add pics with my last post but they didn't upload for some reason so here we go again. The first 2 are the motor in the wagon, standard 2bbl. The next 2 are the motor in the ute(pickup). Its running a 265ci with triple Webers (aftermarket ones but still the same size as what came from the factory).

Stickman, you asked what mods I was planning. The VFX will be restored. Having the first Hemi production engine makes it too valuable to mod.
My other wagon will be getting the factory custom routine as in what the factory should have built bodywise, just haven't decided on the motor yet.

Not stock for that car. The sixpack was available from the factory on the Valiant Charger. It was intended for track use but production car rules at the time meant a certain number had to be sold for street use.
