    At our age we can only cuddle so long. Cold is forever! Along with snow and ice comes SALT ! And old station wagons are allergic to SALT.:slap:

    That is true, that is true. However, I am willing to deal with that. They make a coating stuff that they or you can put on your car to protect against salt damage, and I have cleaning stuff. When you want something bad enough, you will find a way to make it happen.

    Under coating

    -When we lived in central Illinois we always had our new cars undercoated with some super tar coating. Also did that with used cars. But, even washing and spraying in all those nooks and crannies, they seemed to rust out. Salt and that super blue crap loved metal and it didn't mind working around the undercoatings to eat up our cars. So, we moved to Florida, inland away from the salty sea. Still, the sand and air seem to love our cars here just as much as in Illinois. So enjoy whatever you drive wherever you drive it. Unless you move to the desert where everything fades and disintigrates. This is why old cars and wagons become rare expensive toys. The less there are the more they are worth.......... :yup:

    Joplin got hit really bad. my wife and I are ok but a third of the town is gone. I will post more later when I have more time I have some video... Thank you

    WOW, Xavier....89 dead in Joplin...maybe more. I looked at some pix on line...BAD storm. Leveled sections of Joplin. Glad you are OK! :yup:
