Pete Lamie, ready for another busy day driving his miniature locomotive and coaches in the early 1940s. This was situated in a pine grove off of Rt. 1 in North Hampton,N.H. The train was named Smokey Joe. The little Station where you could purchase tickets was called "Rocky Nook." The tracks were laid in a circle through a grove of tall pines. In the early 1950s a man approached Pete with an offer to buy everything. When the summer season was over, the little railroad was packed up and hauled away to parts unknown.www.facebook.com/NewHampshireThenAndNow
