    Boys and I were in Packwood for the long Memorial weekend. We decided to take a day tripe to Elbe and visit the Mt. Rainier Scenic Railroad.

    They closed down in 2020 and just returned to running tours this spring.

    We didn’t go for a ride this time. It was more of a scouting trip for a possible excursion later this summer.

    Man, these trains are enormous! :shocked: Just look at the size of the wheel compared to the man standing close by.
