    In the extended wheelbase the "Camper Special" became known as the "Super Camper Special"
    To my knowledge the extended wheelbase truck with bed (as shown above) was only offered on the 73-79 bodystyle (known in some circles as the "dentside") and the "Super Camper Special" option was only available on standard cab trucks. It was never offered on the Super Cab or Crew Cab.

    Here is one that was turned into a trailer that was here at work recently.

    You can see the unique side compartment that was used to house the spare tire.

    There were many 'uses' and devices for those uses for the CJ2A and following models. The one that got me was the farm implements.
