US road trip: The Wagons

We've taken our 86 Colony Park on two true road trips.(1)From L.A. to Yosemite and back.Lost the tranmission coming back.On what they call The Grapevine(a steep and windy part of I-5,you can probably Google it)and(2)from L.A. to Sacramento and back.Had a valve stick open on that trip.Had a V7,basically,for most of the trip.Our next big road trip will be to go from L.A. to Eureka-Arcata in Northern California(almost the Oregon border)and NOT back.I'm hoping somebody'll have a trailer we can put her on.I'd really rather not tow her all that way.Even with the drive shaft off.I'd like to keep my rear bumper...We've gone on much shorter cruises,of course.Looking forward to many more.
