Yeah, I was wondering when hibernation was over. How did the car show go?

Thanks WTD. I am definitely enjoying the paintwork. The entire thing still needs a good polish, but it's certainly looking good.

It is funny though, this morning it's snowing and blowing here. It was 26 degrees when I left for work this morning. Very unusual for us to get snow in April, but here it is.

Yeah, I know western Canada is getting similar weather this week. It just seems that arctic pocket of air way to the north of you just won't stop this year. The Yukon has been in a deep freeze pretty much all winter since the beginning of November and that frigid air keeps dropping to the south periodically. Just hang in there! Warmer temps are coming!

When I saw the forecast was for snow I thought "yeah right, like that will actually happen"

In past years, you were likely right.

Well it’s my turn to post a chapter in “Travels” of the Fury, although this is kinda a story where the mountain went to Mohamed. I am in the Oregon Washington area this week for business. I was fortunate enough to conduct the Washington part of my business over the weekend. That being said I had reached out to brother Orthmann for a chance to see the Fury and the F-100. He topped that with an invitation to join him at a show at the agricultural museum at Union Gap. Needless to say, old cars, and old tractors and agricultural equipment. I was on that like a dog on a bone. Met dad, and the boys at the farm store. Well I have to say. It was a day to make memories. I had such a great time, got to drive the Fury, had ice cream with young Caleb, and watched the ever growing Nathaniel revel in the car photos on his phone. Holy Moly. Thanks Jeremiah. What a absolutely fabulous day. Loved that you, and your boys shared the time with me. The weather was also glorious. God bless and let’s do it again sometime! 5D636722-2DB4-47F7-B068-74B23C4A8CEB.jpeg

    Fantastic, Mercman!

I'll get up there to visit Jeremiah and the Fury (and the boys/wife, etc...) .... eventually.

@60Mercman & @OrthmannJ Looks like a great meetup and fun had by all! Thanks for sharing! :)

Also, looks like you're rocking the same beard I've got right now. Like a brother from another mother. lol Although, I think I have a little more grey in mine overall!

It very well could be brother from another mother. In Jeremiah’s case, I’m thinking it could be a witness protection program thing, but that’s fodder for another thread. Lol. Thanks again Jeremiah. It was a blast.

Been a funny year so far. The Fury hasn't seen nearly as much action as usual. I have been working on a truck and am just about to the point where it's "finished". I intend to sell it, so it's been the priority. I have been driving it a LOT just to make sure everything is right and it's ready to go.

But I did decide to drive the Fury to work this morning. So I pulled it out of the garage last night and gave it a good rinse. The sky was beautiful, so naturally I snapped a photo.

i know what you mean. I started getting our Camaro Convertible ready to sell. I need room for the new wagon.
However, yesterday’s rain made today nice, calm and cool. I feel some good windshield time coming.
