I was a bit dense. I didn't think much of it when hair seemed to clog the shower drain somewhat regularly. Then, I was at a friend's mother's house helping my buddy work on his car. I was kneeling beside the car while my buddy was on the other side of the car. His mom came out of the house and started talking to me. I turned around to face her and she looked surprised. Then she said, "Oh, sorry. I saw your bald spot and thought you were Lee." I knew he had a bald spot. Thought she was kidding about mine. Lee laughed, cause he already knew I had a bald spot. It was just news to me. We were in our late thirties then.

Only one time I ever was mistaken for someone else, and it involved a cop. Fortunately, I wasn't the droid he was looking for.

Wow you're a youngster...I retired at 55 in 2003. Four months from now, I turn 74. I guess that makes me an old man...

I was nine in 1974, the Summer Dad retired from the Navy at 44. He joined in '47 at 17.

Yeah, no kidding. It's like that meme I saw of the two Ford pickups: shows a Bumpside early '70s rig, says, "What I think is a 25-year-old truck," and then shows an Aerobrick early '90s truck and says, "This is an actual 25-year-old truck."

You too, huh? I started losing my hair when I was about 23 and by the time I was 30 I was completely bald. I also got my first grey hairs on the chin of my beard when I was 35, and now at the age of 41 the lower half of my beard is beyond salt & pepper. What the hell is going on??? lol Time stops for no one, huh? :90:

I dunno about that...Dad was salt and pepper at 44 when he retired from the Navy, and eventually ended up with a Pope's Nose (tonsure). By contrast, I may have widow peaks, but I still have a lot of my hair, and I'm only just barely showing gray in my facial hair and on my temples. To put this into perspective, I turn 57 in a few months.

It kind of feels like I am behind schedule this year, but I finally got the Fury out of winter hibernation. Pulled it out of the garage last Friday, cleaned it up and then the next morning we headed to our first Cars and Coffee event of the year.

Then we went to the AG Museum for their Grand Re-Opening. That was a lot of fun.

And what weekend excursion would be complete without a stop at a local antique store?

Nice Orth, been itching to do the same. Looks like your spring season is a little ahead mine here in the northeast, according to the crab trees in the background of your pic. But I got to wait until the 1st of May (collectors insurance specifications).....Dust off time for the Longroofs!

@OrthmannJ Man, your Plymouth perpetually looks awesome in any photo you've posted. I bet you're enjoying the new paintwork on the doors too! Looks great! :)
