Strange coincidence. There's a guy named Sprocket on another forum with a wagon collection just like yours.

    Better late than never

So I joined, made one post and didn't come back for 9 months. Life gets in the way sometimes, lol

Okay here are some pics for you guys:

Cougar XR7 as I pulled her out of 16 years hibernation. One owner (mother in law bought it new in 68). Notice the cool tow vehicle :)

Two cars in my two car garage!

Wagon #10, 91 Olds bought with 228K on it, currently my DD and 242K.

Wagon #9 - the Rustmaster. FLORIDA car, never waxed in it's whole life I'd bet. 104K Bought off 85 YO lady who quit driving. Bought as I couldn't say no to the price, sold to a B-Body affecinado in Miami.

Wagon #8 - Grimace, previously known as Big Red. Purchased with a 'modified odo, so real miles unknown. Suspect they took 100K off it so that'd be around 220K when I sold it B-body wagon guys Mom (she loves purple). Was daily for about a year.

My driveway at the time.

Wagon # 7 - My first OCC and named the Radio Flyer as it was repainted an off red color. Clean 140K car, should not have sold it, but had too many cars in the driveway. Rolled up a years worth of miles in 6 months road trippin this one up to Niagra Falls and back.

Wagon # 6. 90K '94 w/LT1. Just bought a T56 6-speed to put into this baby. Didn't ever intend to do an Impala SS clone, but it's the right color and with a 6-speed it'll be as quick as one...Pontiac Bonnie interior waiting to go in(this is the build car).

The non wagon wagon. Paid a guy $150 to part a Buick Roadmaster he was scrapping. Got my money's worth :)

Wagon #5 - the parts car. Paid $200 for it sans driveline, had a Roadie Sedan front clip. Stripped alot of good parts off it and traded it for the set of Impala SS rims you see on the Green wagon. Currently the front clip is in South Carolina and the rest is in Canada.

Wagon #4 - The $300 miracle No photo on CL ad, called and offered what I had in hand. Said ok come get it. 160K, no AC and the driver's window didn't work. Used window motor off of #5 car, and sold it another friend in Canada as it was rust free by their standards (some light surface rust here and there). Believe it's still a daily (haven't talked to him much).

Pre-Deja Vu, lol. When I bought the 90K green car I sold #4 & #5 to make room, and then got the two Oldsmobiles.

Wagon #3 at the top of her game and when purchased. Gifted this one to my son as first car, it's his daily and going through mods now.

    First family portrait.

Wagon #2 and my wife's DD currently with 220K on it. Clear coat is gone on the hood now, and she's hit a few things with it (including wagon # 10...ouch) but it keeps on running.

And the bitch that started it all. 1994 Caprice 1A2 Special Service PKG wagon. Not quite the full 'cop' treatment but all it was lacking was disc rear brakes and 3.08 posi (had a 2.56 peg leg). Ex New York State Police (hence the factory Dark Blue Saphirre metallic). I had fallen in love with another example of this same car back in 2001 but could not agree on a price with the owner. This one popped up 6 years later in my FIRST search for one on ebay in 6 years and was 2 miles from my Aunt and Uncle's house in Erie, PA.
I had him go look at it and then put my fingers in my ears when he talked about the rust on it. Bought it anyway and the above pic is from Skyline Drive in VA on the way home (made a vacation out of it). She was rode hard and hung up wet. In looking for a parts car to restore, I had found #2 and #3, so with a clear head thought, I don't need 3 wagons, I'll sell one (I have 4 now), which I did to a guy from New York who flew down and took her home.

Last but not least my 1963 Austin Healey BJ7. My dad bought the car brand new in 1964 (before I was born). It's a driver but needs an update as my Dad did a backyard resto on it in 1980. 64K original miles (had 60K on it when we moved to FL in 1973). I drive every couple of weeks to cruise ins and just up and down the beach road.

Sprocket you have a problem. Thanks for the story and photos. We spent a month at Jolly Rogers RV park at the site farthest north along the Gulf near the chain link fence. Also loved Sky Line Drive.
    :yahoo:
You need a bigger drive way

Thanks for the replies! Yeah it seems like a pretty long list. I'm lucky in that I have a patient and understanding wife (although she's over the wagon and wants something small and zippy now).
