    He has an Edsel?

I'm pretty sure he doesn't. Cause who would leave it in their driveway and not drive the coolest wagon in BC? [IMG]

Anyway, if the Rev can keep it down for a minute, I have a little update.

First, got the engine back from balancing and blue printing. It's a 327 out of a 1965 Corvette. Rollerized, Dart Heads, Eagle Rods and Crank, Kieth Black pistons. It being built with alot of torque so I can tow my boat, or maybe a cool camper trailer in the future, and be confident in doing it, motor wise.

I also got my frame back from the powdercoaters. The upper and lower, front/rear tubular control arms from Air Ride Technolofies have been installed, and the frame has been reinforced in the back, so that towing will be a safe propsition.

Also have the Stainless Steel Brakes front set up going on. May do the rear as well, at another time. But I figure it will be a little safer with the kid in the car, while towing.

They had side rails too, but I guess that's done or replaced too. This wagon is gonna outlast me at least. Extreme Resto. My respect. Awesome.

Gotta do it right if you are going to haul an Airstream proudly down the road.

Look real good - you are one of the best check writers I've seen in a LONG time !

Yah, an Airstream OR a Chris Craft. Either way, I'm just waiting for the rear end to get finished. And then the frame will be rolling and the body can be mated back to the frame.

I'm not going to lie. I'm getting nervous about putting the thing back together. I took it apart a long time ago. Hopefully I can find everything and remember where it goes........

Get a crash sheet for it. There must be some around:

Scroll down on the LH, he's got old manuals. A 1960 isn't all that different. They show the part and part number and where it fits. Body shops use them.

We used a factory assembly manual ( probably similar thing Norm?) for the Chevelle and even with that it was a challenge figuring out how some of the pieces were assembled, but with a lot of looking on line, and four of us putting our heads together to figure it out, the Chevelle only took 52 months:slap:.
