The end is near?

    Well, it does look like the End is here - that being the end of the end of the world day.

    Not one person took me up on the offer of taking care of their wagon - boy, you all sure were taking chances with your wagons. Right now they could be safe and sound, if perhaps a tad soggy, sitting here at my place being admired by my friends and neighbors.

    Oh well, it was worth the try.

    So, welcome to a new world with out the Mayan thing hanging around making some folks nervous.

    I wonder just how much money was blown by the people who thought this might actually happen? Just think of all the station wagons we could buy with that money.

    that was a single axle short wheelbase ford Louisville....that truck couldnt have been THAT heavy!

    With a dump bed full of sand, a full-sized plow, and a truck whose tare weight is about 9,000 pounds to start with, you have a truck weighing about 20K#. Add to that, the weight of the ice and snow, and there are other vehicles that are close to where the truck fell through, you get what is in the video.
