    service wagons is a much better term. Working Wagons is a bit more vast. My wagon's a working wagon. It's in good working condition. :)

    I kinda relate this to the love of my life (no, no, the wife, not the cars).

    If I called her a working wife she'd agree. ;) She has six months to retirement.

    If I called her a service wife I'd be so dead so quickly :49:

    As for the wagon I see the family run of the mill wagon as a working wagon. It does pretty much everything.

    I see the almost commercial wagons/ambulances/etc. as service wagons. They provided service (many still do) to many people, not just the family that happens to own it, and were viewed by most folks as being very helpful in some way.

    That's my take. Either way, I'd be happy to take one of each, thank you very much. I still regret not buying my buddy in SK's '57 Pontiac Sedan Delivery (Canadian only, about 200 made). He just sold it to someone in Texas. Service wagon, used hard and put away wet, but it is neat and rare.

    I would think they are separate categories.
    Working wagons are ones that are in private use by folks running their business.
    Service wagons are special order items with extra options for "fleet" vehicles, and usually purchased by larger businesses and government agencies.

    There has been other members such as you and saf57 that like the "Working Wagons" besides me, Rev. But none of you have voted for it at the top of the page. As it stands now Service Wagons is ahead 8 to 1.
