I know where you were, when you took that last pic....

Also, I've seen that Malibu wagon myself. IIRC, it's a '78 or '79; the one I had, oh so many years ago, was mustard yellow with brown interior '79, and it had the same style hubcaps.

So Nathaniel and I were rolling down the road in the F-100 today and that yellow Country Sedan was in front of us.
He was admiring it and I mentioned I had seen another FORD wagon yesterday just down the street. As we got to an intersection I told him I thought it might still be were I had seen it the day before. Sure enough it was still sitting in the exact same spot. Of course we had to stop in and check it out.

    It's a 1966 Country Squire.

It's at a shop and according to the fellow I spoke with it's a 2 owner car. The current owner hadn't driven it for years so it was brought in on a tow truck. The shop was tasked with getting it running, which they did.

The 390 started on the first try and ran like a sewing machine.

The original interior was in really nice shape.

    I love this emblem.

It was fun to check it out.

Wow, that’s gorgeous. I’ve not seen that emblem before. Is it a horse with a riding crop?

Yup, I've driven up and down Highway 99 in Lynnwood/Edmonds too many times to count.

Notice the 'woodgrain' (which should show 'planks') has been replaced by brown paint.......

Good eye Marshall. That is indeed the case. Not sure when it was done, but my guess it that it was quite a while ago.

Been awhile, but the sun is warming things up and the nice cars are starting to come out of hibernation.
Saw this one a couple of days ago around the corner from where I work. IMG_6609.JPG IMG_6608.JPG IMG_6610.JPG

Took the wife out for a drive in Annie, stopped to get a drink at the gas station... Ran into this.

Of course soon as that other guy left...

Had a mini car show, lots of people taking pics and impressed, asking if it was the twilight zone.

Man I love your blue wagon. Had an ‘86 Grand Marquis that color. Very delightful.

It’s funny that green CP has to be a repaint. Don’t remember that color from ‘88-‘91. That looks like the light Jade Metallic that Ford used in the mid to late ‘70’s

Yeah when the gal got in you could see the original color in the door jambs was a cream. Was her sisters car, so maybe they were going for a Wagon Queen Family Truckster look?

Thanks for the compliment on my wife's blue wagon, you could see a major difference in the cars, 28k vs... well a lot more... And more sun exposure.. the di-noc on the side was fairly hashed, and the wipers don't park correctly it appears, but we all can't be blessed with a one owner low mileage garaged beauty. :D
