    Here's a little bit of trivia for you......
    The Comet was originally going to be the Edsel Comet when it came out in '60. When they made the decision to kill the Edsel, they of course switched the Comet over to the Mercury line, but they didn't have the proper emblems tooled, so the '60 Comet was actually sold as "The Comet by Mercury.....IIRC, there are no 'Mercury' nameplates on it - until the '61 came out.

    I wonder if this Ford wagon (Country Squire?) was the biggest selling wagon of the early 70s, because there were all over my home town....At least 3 families on my street had this same model...
