    I remember driving to Texas way back when. Rolling threw the barren wastelands of New Mexico between Demming and Las Crusas I saw a sign " Federal Prison 300 yards, Do Not Stop for Hitchhikers "

    I swear it was all desert for whole miles in all directions.

    I shot this as I entered a small town about 45 mins north of where I live. They're actually proud of the town's elevation. From what I've heard from residents, the sign holds true no matter how you want to take it.
