Wife has a mild case right now. Probably got it when she took our daughter and granddaughter to one of those trampoline places a few days ago. I don't think it's hit me yet...... We're fully immunized and boosted.

Well sadly the shots don’t seem to keep you from getting it, but should help with the severity of it. Take a bunch of vitamin D and drink a lot of water. Stay safe.

Our daughter unknowingly, came home with a head cold that was actually the onset of Covid. I was helping her dig through a couple of boxes and three days later I came down with a severe head cold which of course is Covid. I didn't test positive until three days in, so it's easy to see how folks go about their business not realizing they are so contagious. Daughter has been off work for a week, she doesn't have sick pay. I too will be off work for a week but I do have sick benefits.
It's been an awful illness but because I have been vaccinated and boosted I am able to recover at home. Like any cold/flu I haven't had an appetite, lost a few pounds ( side benefit) but have bumped up my usual liquid intake and vitamin C. I have also caught up on my Date Line episodes. :D

Appreciate it. I bet I was just overlooking it, par for the course from where I'm standing.

Well, wife's over it, had a very mild case. And it appears I beat the bullet......... Don't know how. Wife didn't self-isolate in the house. We carried on as normal, just restricted personal contact.

Glad your wife is feeling and you managed to beat it, so far.
I was down and out for a few days.

This is the dedication of the Mackinac Bridge, a suspension bridge spanning the Straits of Mackinac, connecting the Upper and Lower peninsulas of the state of Michigan, in 1958. There was a white 1958 Oldsmobile and beauty queen representing every county in Michigan.

The bridge was officially opened in November 1957, but the “Dedication Festival” was held in June of 1958, and that’s when this photo was taken.

Reminds me of 'Carmine DePasto' in "Animal House."
