Old thread but i am going through more of this website lately. I went to an indoor car show in my hometown a few weeks ago and Jr. was there signing photographs and taking pics. It was $10 to get in and pics with him and photographs were free with admission. Jr was selling posters and some other merchandise but not much. His RV is nothing special neither, it was kinda old and nothing like you would think he woukd have. He was very nice to everyone and was putting kids on his bikes and holding babys. My son has no idea who he is so he couldnt care less. I have never seen the bikes close up but he had about 5/6 bikes there and as a lifelong rider they are not motorcycles in the real sense. They are so big long and heavy that they would be a nightmare to put miles on them and they actually look dangerous for the road. I have always liked Jr the most and the whole family is a mess. Most people think fame and fortune is what they want, but alot of time it ends in carnage. I would never want to be famous, shit i have only been to Walmart in my home town 3 times because i am not a hig fan of people in general, most are not nice these days. I saw that he Jr was doing more CT car/bike shows also, seems like a crappy way to make a living especially if he has kids but im not sure if he does or not. Hopefully he is happier now then back when the show was on.

We met most of that group several times during Daytona bike events. Paul Jr said hi but it was the chubby young one, Mikie I think, who was friendly.
For the most part the rest only signed autographs and talked if people spend big bucks on their things. We don't care for autographs so it didn't matter.
They actually rode their latest bikes up and down the streets of Daytona when there.

Out of all the famous bike builders Indian Larry was more like a decent normal human. My wife even got to sit on his personal bike one time.

I can honest;y say i don't miss their show and the drama. Now it seems too many shows follow the same guidelines
