A while back,my wife and I watched a PBS show about a local LA car club. One of the featured cars was a 63 Chevy Impala owned by a couple who decided, one day, to gold plate one of the under the hood parts. The air cleaner,I think.Since then, they'd gold plated just about everything on the car.The master cylinder, the oilpan, the valve covers, the starter motor housing, all of the interiour trim that had been chrome, the rims, the bumpers. The exhaust piping, they got in ceramic, gold colored. They guessed they'd spent about $180,000 on gold plated parts alone...Then had to admit that it was now a trailer queen, and that they were probably never going to drive it again...At least these guys are going to be driving their cars...I really don't like the cars that sit on the ground either. It doesn't make sense at all,to my wife and I.
Well like the disclaimer said at the top of my post I hold no one responsible for there own opinions, to each their own. I am not into big rims (anything over 18" is too big in my opinion), or overly flashy graphics but this is a good cross sample of these cars in different colors. My car is already lowered a good bit more than stock and I have a set of home made wide white wall tires that are waiting to be installed, I am hoping this will tide me over for a good while.
