I am a big fan of portawalls. I have ran them on a few of my cars in the past. If you guys have seen my old rides in the general wagon discussions, those are portawalls on the roadmaster, and I am currently running them on the fairlane. I am really happy with them. Portawalls.com The company is lucas tire, and generally cost about $60 for a set of four to your door. If you are just trying to get the look, its way better than paying $800 or so for the real ones. I have no problems with them on the radials. Just my .02.

That's reallty good to hear!!! I did some reading, and it seemed like people didn't like them. I'll have to give this a try - I'm willing to drop $60 for an experiment instead of paying $800 for the real deal - especially with this project...(y)

I'll order some up, and let everyone know how I make out...

Yup, it was available - you are absolutely correct KK. The last PT rolled off the assembly line just a couple weeks ago (July 9th). I have read several articles about how Chrysler missed the boat on carrying this styling concept forward. They had no idea the PT would be so successful, and when it was, they didn't look forward and expand on the concept. Too bad, 'cause I love my little convertible. It's an inexpensive car, but has a lot of quality features to it.

The convertible was only made for 3 years ('05 through '07), and '06 was the year they changed the body style (a step backwards in the view of many). I like having an '05, because it's the only year like it...

Maybe in 30 years it will be worth something...:bouncy:

Don't know what to say, to each his oun I guess. As soon as the vidio started all I thought was....this will take hours, and he mentions hours at the end but never says just how long.

But, there is no frigen way I would ever attack the side wall of a tire with a grinder, and then put it back on a car:naughty:
