    I'll take this point-by-point:

Check out the annual Darwin Awards...they say that there is no cure for stupid. I dare say that death is a pretty good cure...

Yes, Georgia is in the South. For this point I would like to bring up the difference between stupid and ignorant. Ignorance is rooted in not having enough knowledge to make the right decision. Stupid is having all necessary data to make an informed decision, but still making the wrong one. I would say that the majority of Wal*Mart shoppers are ignorant -- same goes for the people in my little Southern Town.

You can't seriously call southerners stupid and then try to make a case for intelligent design in the same breath, right? The monkeys that are still around evolved from even more primitive monkeys. There is only a 2% genetic difference between a human and a chimpanzee; for most other animals if there is that little difference, the animals are at the minimum lumped into the same genus. This is the argument that Jared Diamond makes in "The 3rd Chimpanzee" -- the common chimpanzee being "Pan Troglodytes", the Bonobo being "Pan Paniscus", and humans proposed as being "Pan Sapiens."

Anyway, this over the top super serious response to a light-hearted response has been brought to you by caffeine :drink:and 4 hours of sleep :p

Norselord, you really need to get more sleep! :drink:Thanks for your response. I was really just monkeying around with you.
Here in my new world we have both ignorant and stupid in the same package. It is often difficult to tell the difference by looking or by their actions.
With that said, we couldn't find any more friendly fun people to call neighbors.

Although it's after the fact for you I learned a trick for trim rings way back when. I had them on a work van years ago and when I installed them one just didn't need any efort perioud to pop on. I pulled it off, pulled the taps out so it would have more grab. Worked for awhile and then it went rolling beside me ino the ditch. Repeated the tab pulling, that dam same trim ring rolled away on me a couple weeks later. I again was luckey to find it but it showed it's wear from rollong down the road. I put pieces of duct tape on a few of the ring tabs and on the steel rim.... drove that van for years after and never lost that trim ring again.

Yeah I know it's Red Green, but it did work:D(y)

I'm beginning to wonder about some of these similarities. Work van, duct tape, Canada ? Fat Tedy, did you call your van the Possom van? :rofl2:
