From what I've read, the 347 doesn't last as long due to the longer stroke.
    I do also want longevity.

My soon to be done '79 is my second. Love that car. We've had it since 1997, and she's just been a real gem.

This pic is partway through my roller painting:

I'll have on-the-street pics this week. Almost 2 years to do a FULL resto myself, mostly.

I have seen that wagon before. I think it may have been on foureyedpride! I read where you painted it with a roller and it truly looks awesome! I love the woody wagons. Keep the pics coming!

Thanks. Just click on my handle and you'll get to all my gallery pics.

My big project threads are under Cosmetics...

Car Running Countdown and Roller Painting, plus a bunch on some of the detail components. It's been a fun project with help from all over the world, literally. I'll go into my house reno mode for most of this summer (big reno work around the house, and build myself a garage for the next two.)

I want either another one like this with a floor shift 4-speed, or a 1981 or so Ford Escort Woody wagon for my wife, and then I'm gonna a tackle a real woodie buildup from the frame up.

I looked through them and It look sweet! I would like to go through mine like that but I think I will leave it the way it is (sleeper). Did you change the dash panel piece that has the vents in it. If so did you put the right side piece with 1 or 2 vents?

Nope no side vents. I think that was a Zephyr only trim item.
