Dito on that The first pics showed the old girl was weathered/bondo'ed, the rear quarters showed it. It's still around and it's rare, Kudos for keeping her going as some would have scrapped it long ago.
Yea if I wouldn't have bought it when I did, it would have been scrapped. The lady that sold it to me originally posted it for $1900. I saw it a month before I bought it for $1000. I didn't have the money. Then I sold my 20" rims off my datsun, guy shafted me but I still end up with nearly $400 which was enough to make a $350 that I was surprised she took.
Diamond in the rough....still I think you got a killer deal on it. Good luck and look towards the light at the end of the tunnel...when shes complete:2_thumbs_up_-_anima
Its been a good driver, just mild issues here and there. Today I had to change both exhaust donuts because it got loud on me. Before I was able to drive it, I had to change the U-bolts on the rear end, rebuild 2 wheel cylinders, and rebuild some parts of the carburetor. I did end up changing the thermostat and a dash light bulb. I also installed a radio in the glove box to be discrete and not cut up the dash any. Also this car does not have a gas tank, it came with a 5 gallon boat tank. I pulled the tank and borrowed a fuel cell from my Datsun so I could drive it.
