I had been wondering what to use on various interior parts. Especially the seats. I've been using a vinyl cleaner from Mequires but I'm not that happy with it, and it was pretty expensive. A friend used to work with my brother-in-law whose a fair amount dimmer than your average bulb. The friend told me a story about how the company didn't like giving "important" tasks to my brother-in-law so they set him to work cleaning the delivery trucks. He wound up applying Armor All to all of the steering wheels and bench seats of the trucks. It was few days before any of the other employees stopped sliding on the seats and maintaining a death-grip on the wheel.:rofl: I've used Armor All in the past but I've never much seen the usefulness of it. I'm a big fan of Black Magic, but it never occurred to me to use it on anything but my tires. I have a bottle of "Back To Black" that I've been using on trim and plastic engine compartment pieces. I might have a closer look at that too.

If you plan on painting anything, on this car or any other in the same area, you should first check with a painter about using silicone products.
