Lube and Boobs Poker Run

It was a great time, and the helmet guy got kicked out of the Cruise, he was pulling the front wheel off the ground and about killed his girl, so we told him to get lost, there is no reason to be doing stupid stuff like that when there are 50 other people trying to have a good time!

 

Since about 1990 or so. I can't remember it's been so long.

I am giving myself a bump.....

Fox will like this one.....I struck up a deal with Red Bull to come out and pass out free drinks and they are bringing the Red Bull Models out! YAY!

Oh I almost forgot.....here is the shirt design for the event....

 

Has that art been printed on anything yet?

 

Not yet, it will be on the front of the shirts, koozies, and flyers. Sponsors will be on the back. The lettering will be a little different, due to the back some of the letters do not connect, the "B" looks like an "R"

 

Being an old marketing/advertising guy....and being that I started that career as a commercial artist.....BINGO on the B's looking like R's. Very hard to read type face. Reads like LURE ROORS.

 

Yeah I caught it pretty early as well, I designed the logo and they used different lattering than what I picked, no biggie I am going to change it this week.

Good ol graphic design classes lol

 

So is anyone planning on coming down for our little event?

 

I wanted to but I seriously doubt my car will be done. If it looks like it may be done I will be there. I have been going through all kinds of changes, as you know, Amp, in trying to decide what route to take. It is not a cheap proposition messing with these LT1's. Now I'm behind. I thought I would have all winter to work on it but I still haven't even started. Soon, I hope.

 

Well....finally got the Event in last weekend...after playing around with all kinds of rain issues. We had a great day for the event and a good turn out over all.....Had over 60 cars show up. Including some SEMA cars from Spade Kreations.

I figured I would post up some pics of the cars that made it out......I will be adding more as I recieve them.
